Nevada Licensing

nevada

Welcome to the Nevada professional engineering licensing page! This page will provide all of the detailed steps necessary to get licensed and stay licensed as a professional engineer in Nevada. For detailed contact information for the Nevada State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, see the contact information page. Nevada is a partial practice act state when it comes to licensure as a structural engineer.  Licensed civil professional engineers may practice within the branch of structural engineering so long as the structure is less than three stories in height and less than 45 feet tall, and as long as the structure is not a sign or radio tower taller than 100 feet. The engineer must be licensed as a structural engineer to work on these special structures.
